Our Own Facilities

Our Own Cold Storage in Jinxiang

We hold company-controlled cold storage in the Jinxiang area, kept at -2°C to 0°C for fresh garlic. Storing at this range slows sprouting and weight loss, so bulbs stay firm and marketable through the off-season instead of spoiling after harvest. Our facilities use RFID and sensor-equipped monitoring, which keeps a continuous temperature record for every batch we hold on your behalf.

Holding our own inventory is what makes year-round supply real. The new crop arrives from June, and cold-stored garlic covers the months between harvests, so we can ship a container in any season rather than only at peak. Our storage sits inside a region with more than 5 million tonnes of cold storage capacity across 5,000+ standard facilities, which gives us surge capacity in a strong buying year without leaving your order exposed.

On Your Behalf

Quality Control: We Inspect on Your Behalf

Our team is local. We visit processing facilities, inspect lots in person, and verify specifications before anything is loaded. Five checks run on every lot before the container is sealed.

Bulb size calibration
Every lot is measured against the size grade you ordered, from 4.5 cm up to 6.5 cm and above for fresh garlic.
Moisture content
Fresh bulbs are checked for cure and firmness; dehydrated products are verified below the 6% moisture ceiling.
Allicin content
Pungency and allicin are confirmed against the variety you specified, which matters for pure white and purple grades.
Pesticide residue
Lots are tested against the maximum residue limits of your destination market before they are cleared for loading.
Heavy metals
Testing covers heavy metal limits so the shipment clears customs and retail acceptance at the receiving port.

Third-party inspection is arranged on request through SGS, CCIC, Bureau Veritas, Intertek. You may also nominate your own agency; we coordinate access to the goods before loading either way.

We match your order to a supplier certified for your destination market. Available schemes include HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, Global GAP, Kosher, Halal, Organic. A phytosanitary certificate is issued for every shipment, and we confirm the exact certificate list your importers and retailers require before production starts.

Processing & Packaging

Processing and Packaging Through 128+ Partner Facilities

Jinxiang has 128 above-scale processing enterprises. We select the right plant for your product specification, certification requirements, and volume, then supervise the run. This depth of local capacity is why we can quote fresh, dehydrated, black, and deep-processed garlic without sending you to a different supplier for each format.

Custom Packaging

Mesh bags in 5 kg, 10 kg, and 20 kg, cartons, vacuum packs, and gift boxes. We match the pack format to your retail programme or industrial line and confirm carton counts per container before loading.

Private Label & OEM

Private label and OEM production is available across the range. Send your artwork and specification, and we place the run with a plant that holds the certificates your market requires.

Retail-Ready & Bulk

Retail-ready consumer packs and bulk industrial formats both ship from the same network. Browse the full range on our products pages.

Port to Door

Export Logistics from Jinxiang to Your Port

Qingdao Port is 4 hours from Jinxiang by road, and Lianyungang serves as an alternate gateway. For long-haul routes we also use the Jinxiang international cold-chain container rail service, which connects the region to Belt and Road destinations while holding temperature in transit.

Export clearance runs through China's first county-level customs trade facilitation center, a one-stop point for the paperwork. Fresh garlic loads into a 40' reefer container held at -2°C to 0°C, so the cold chain stays unbroken from our storage to the ship. Dehydrated products load into 40' dry containers and need no temperature control.

Every shipment leaves with a complete document set for your customs broker. We prepare and check each certificate against your market's import rules before the container is released.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from importers about garlic cold storage, inspection, documents, and shipping from Jinxiang.

How long does shipping take from Jinxiang to Rotterdam?

Plan on about 30-35 days of ocean transit to Rotterdam after the container leaves port. Add our 7-15 day lead time from order confirmation to loading at Qingdao, so a typical door timeline runs roughly six to eight weeks. Fresh garlic ships in a reefer container held at the same -2°C to 0°C we use in storage.

Can you arrange SGS inspection before shipment?

Yes. We arrange third-party inspection through SGS, CCIC, Bureau Veritas, or Intertek on request, in addition to the checks our own team runs on every lot. You can also nominate your own agency, and we coordinate access to the goods before the container is sealed.

What export documents do I receive?

Each shipment comes with a full document set: phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, commercial invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading, fumigation certificate, and health certificate. We clear the paperwork through China’s first county-level customs trade facilitation center, so your customs broker receives everything needed at the destination port.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The MOQ for fresh garlic is one 40′ container, about 24-28 MT. Processed products such as dehydrated flakes and powder accept smaller trial orders, and mixed containers can combine several products in one shipment. See the supply chain and trade terms above for the full commercial framework.

Which incoterm should a first-time importer choose?

CIF is the simplest starting point because we arrange ocean freight and marine insurance to your port, so you handle only import clearance and inland delivery. Experienced importers with their own freight contracts often prefer FOB Qingdao for tighter cost control. Tell us your port and we quote all three.

How is fresh garlic kept fresh in transit?

Fresh garlic moves from our -2°C to 0°C cold storage straight into a 40′ reefer container set to the same range, so the cold chain is unbroken from Jinxiang to your port. Dehydrated products ship in standard 40′ dry containers and need no temperature control.
